How I Saved My Skin From Being Dry and Dull
My face gets all the attention, but my body skin was the one quietly struggling. It was dry and tight after showers, and it had no glow no matter how much lotion I piled on. Then I tried the whole Naturium Glow Getter line, and I haven’t gone back.
All four products use the same base of glycerin, squalane, and a blend of jojoba, rosehip, and sea buckthorn oils. They also share a vanilla coconut scent, so the routine feels like one thing instead of four random bottles. Here’s how I use each one.
Step 1: The Body Wash
The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Hydrating Body Wash is where it starts. It goes on like an oil and turns into a soft milky foam once it hits water. Don’t expect a big bubbly lather. It cleans without that squeaky, stripped feeling that makes dry skin worse. The bottle is 16.9 oz, and you only need a pump or two, so it lasts.
Step 2: The Body Scrub
The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Scrub takes care of the dullness. Dead skin sitting on top is a big reason skin looks flat. This one uses sugar crystals in an oily, hydrating base, so you get a real scrub without feeling stripped afterward. I use it a couple of times a week on rough spots like knees, elbows, and legs.
Step 3: The Body Oil
The Glow Getter Body Oil goes on right after the shower while my skin is still damp. It has jojoba, coconut, squalane, and a vitamin C derivative, and it gives skin that lit-from-within look. Both the oil and the scent are on the lighter side, and it sinks in once you give it a minute.
Step 4: The Body Butter
The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Butter seals everything in. It has shea butter and upcycled apple extract, and it feels rich without being greasy. Oil first and butter second is my favorite combo, because skin stays soft all day instead of drying out by lunch.
The Honest Take
This line is about hydration and glow. If you’re dealing with KP or body breakouts, you’ll probably want something with active ingredients like salicylic acid or urea. For dry, dull, tight skin though, this is the easiest upgrade I’ve made to my routine.
Wash, scrub, oil, butter. That’s the whole thing.
